Engagement at Sandbanks

When Courtney told me where she was from on our initial call, a thought began to grow in my mind.

Could I finally mark off Sandbanks Provincial Park from my dream photoshoot location bucket list?

When I asked Courtney where she wanted to do the shoot, she wondered aloud if I was willing to come to her, to go to Sandbanks. They go there every summer, and it was an important place to them as a couple.

I was so thrilled! I had been really hoping she would say that.

I was going to Port Hope in a few months to see my brother in a play, so we timed the shoot for then. It had been rainy all day. Luckily, it cleared enough for us to have our shoot. It was windy, but I feel like the windy just added to the ambience!

The sun even showed her face for a few moments, allowing us to capture some beautiful lighting.
