Engagement on Film… with a twist

When I met with Erica and Kris before our shoot, Erica asked if I could bring my film camera. Of course, I said, as I love any chance to shoot on film!

However…

When I pulled out the camera, to my chagrin, I realized the light meter was not working!

This was a bit of a nightmare. With digital, you can take the photo, see what a looks like, and then adjust from there. But of course, you can’t do that with film!

Luckily, I’ve been shooting long enough that generally, I know what settings to have my camera at for different lighting situations. But I wasn’t sure if I was correct the whole shoot, which made it quite nerve wracking!
