Julianne + Brad

This wedding was extra special for me, since I’ve known Julianne all my life! Her mother taught me Ballet growing up. When Julie asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was so excited.

This was such a beautiful day. We started at a hotel in downtown Cambridge, doing getting ready photos and a first look on the rooftop. Then we headed to a golf course for the ceremony and some beautiful photos of the couple. The light was so stunning this late September day!

The reception was at Julianne’s favourite restaurant, The French (there’s one in Hamilton too!). I have to say, as someone who loves food, the dinner was incredible. The night wore on, with heartfelt speeches from the couples friends and families. I even got a shout out during her mother’s speech!

We finished with their first dance lit by lanterns held by the guests. The bride had written and recorded a special song, surprising the groom with it. It was so beautiful. You can listen to it on Spotify, if you’d like! It's called Overlight. (I am biased but it’s really good)
